Where did our new sign come from?
We were looking for a quirky idea for the new sign for the Pub and came across this Banksy picture which he had hung in the Brooklyn Museum.
We talked to Graeme Roberts a sign artist in Bristol who unbeknown to us knew Banksy. Graeme loved the idea too and between us we came up with the sign which now hangs outside the Volunteer Inn. The uniform has been changed to match that of the Somerset Volunteers of the period. We hope that you like it.
